Micron 72 Polycrystalline

The 72-cell polycrystalline Micron module features a high structural robustness:

• it is assembled only with 4-mm tempered glass, capable of mechanically protecting the cells from severe atmospheric conditions (hail, ice, thunderstorms), while retaining the ability to transmit all radiation;

• 1000 V insulation obtained by material encapsulated in ethylene vinyl acetate;

• it is also, framed by a aluminum section to ensure additional mechanical strength and to facilitate installation;

• the modules were carefully designed to resist against severe snow loads, tested for 5400 Pa (= 550 kg/m2).
